Since the beginning of her career, ThaÍs Resende has been dedicated to criminal
and electoral law, with a special focus on strategic work in litigation and
consulting for both individual and corporate clients. She also coordinated the
legal matters of election campaigns.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University Center of the United
Metropolitan Colleges (FMU), and is currently pursuing a post-graduate degree
in Criminal Law and Criminology at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio
Grande do Sul (PUC-RS).
She holds a post-graduate degree in Criminal Law at the Institute of European
and Economic Law offered by the University of Coimbra and the Brazilian
Institute of Criminal Science (IBCCRIM) and a post-graduate degree in Electoral
Law from the Brazilian Institute of Education, Development, and Research (Federal District) (IDP/DF). She holds a specialization certificate in American
Contract Law from Yale University.
She is also a member of the Brazilian Institute of Criminal Law Science
(IBCCRIM), the São Paulo Lawyers Association (AASP), the Brazilian Criminal
Lawyers Association (ABRACRIM) and full member of the Environmental Law,
Criminal Law, and Jury Court Committees of the 125th Subsection of the
Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) of Santana for the 2025–2027 term.
